  1. Start

One room, one wall, one word

SLIT started in a small room with SILICON VALLEY taped across the wall. Two students from SKKU's hands-on startup club SPEC, no engineering degrees, one rule: ship first.

  2. Build

ANYON and 2,938 downloads in a day

We interviewed 56 non-developer founders and found the real wall was opening an IDE at all. That became ANYON, an AI development platform for non-developers. Our spec-driven development template hit 2,938 npm downloads in its first day.

  3. Program

    ZERO100 AI Builderthon

Six weeks of building with Translink Investment, Wilt Venture Builder and d·camp in the room. We shipped ANYON as an AI-native dev OS and pitched it at Pop-up Day.

  5. Program

    Outsome Founder Sprint, Batch 4

Four weeks with Peter Shin (YC alum) and 10+ YC and Silicon Valley mentors on ICP, GTM, pricing and a US-style pitch. Afterwards, Outsome hired us to build their batch management and community platform.

  6. Program

    Hanyang University Campus Town

Selected through the 2026 Campus Town startup competition and moved into the program. The same month we delivered a 3D exhibition-automation site for ArtWizard.

  7. Award

Grand Prize, AI+X Global Startup Competition

Soul Mate Pioneers, hosted by SKKU RISE with Kakao Mobility. We pitched ANYON — “A dev team in your pocket” — and placed first.

  8. Program

    U300, Modoo Startup, Sungchangjae

Final selection for U300 (student startup teams 300+), first round of the national Modoo Startup Project, and SKKU's startup residency Sungchangjae, Cohort 2. We also shipped an AI auto-reply tool for a law firm in two weeks.

  9. Company

    SLIT Co., Ltd.

We incorporated. Dohyun Jeon as CEO, Jisang Han as CTO.

  10. Program

    Asan Doers 2026

Selected for the Asan Nanum Foundation's Asan Doers 2026 batch, a program for founders in their twenties building for the global market. We moved into the MARU180 seed zone that summer.

  12. Field

    “We’d like to work here.”

We asked the staff at a lender every question we could think of. When they stop answering, what next? Can you seize right away with a judgment? It depends on the case. Most of it could not be learned by asking. So we asked to be hired, and spent our days collecting debts ourselves, forward-deployed at the desk.

The case files. Years of them.
  13. Launch

    Recova

We turned what we learned at the desk into an agent. Recova calls and texts, gets the payment promise, and when the promise breaks it prepares the payment order and finds the assets to seize. People only press approve. We validated it with a lender running about ₩250B in receivables, where the number of debtors one collector could manage went from the 200s to the 500s in our internal test.

  14. Field

    Everyone is owed money

We told the story on social media and inbound calls started coming in: rental companies, rent-a-car operators, space-rental services, distributors. Different industries, the same work. Every business that delivers first and gets paid later ends up carrying collections. A rent-a-car PoC is next.

  15. Program

Next: CES 2027, then the U.S.

Recova exhibits at Eureka Park in the Seoul pavilion at CES 2027, Las Vegas, January 6–9. U.S. rent-a-car receivables look a lot like Korea's, and we have already heard the need in interviews with American operators. We'll walk in the same way we did here.

Why Recova

We went into collections because nobody can copy what you learn at the desk.

  1. 01

    The technical moat is gone

We started as a team that built and shipped fast. When anyone can ship software in a weekend, speed and UI stop protecting anything. Tax accountants build in tax, lawyers build in law. We needed a domain of our own.

  2. 02

Tacit knowledge is the new moat

What decides a collection case lives in people's heads, not in manuals. When to call again, which asset is worth seizing, which claim is undisputed. We learned it the only way it can be learned, at the desk, and we are teaching it to an agent.

  3. 03

    Korea first, then the world

Korea's collections work is hard and heavily regulated. If Recova works here, it works where the structure is simpler. We are going to the U.S. next, and we won't stop there.

“We’d like to work here.”

Also in the U.S. Why not?

Putting money back where it belongs. That is Recova.
